I can think of a few ways they might 'balance the scales':
  • Introduce Sam Wilson's Native American grandfather (or other heritage), possibly leading him to take the name Condor or Eagle or Wren or Hawk or Osprey etc.
  • give him a sidekick like The Lone Ranger's Tonto (you might even name him "Kemo Sabe," which could mean Trusty Scout, Faithful Friend, Wrong Brother, Scout Runner, or he who 'Peeks' (Looks-out in Secret))
