Cursed #PublicSchoolEducation! No Mention of the #GreenwoodMassacre, but ALSO No Mention of Oklahoma's ORIGINAL #Residents ... | @eReferenceDesk

Like I mention in a forum where YOU can earn a few cents, I always thought that Oklahoma's famous "Five Civilized Tribes" were here when European-Americans 'discovered' Oklahoma (and/or bought it from France or -whatever).

Then I hear--in some of the background-history of Tulsa, Oklahoma's race-massacre in Greenwood (the neighborhood known as Black Wall Street)--'the Five Civilized Tribes' were actually displaced from other areas!

'Some text about Oklahoma's original residents' is linked through 'the main word' below; but first I want to understand that word better. And I find that you understand words better when you look at the other words at the bases of the words you're thinking-of ...

The word “Residents” is built on ancient words that mean "to |Sit Back, -Again."

Before 'The Five Civilized Tribes' (Cherokee, Choctaw, Muscogee (Creek), Chickasaw, Seminole)- and obviously after the Tenontosauruses (possibly influencing the name Tonto?), the Deinonychus and/or the Sauro Poseidon Proteles-the residents of Oklahoma were The Spiro (linked to The Aztecs), The Teyas, The Escanjaques, The Apache, The Arapaho, The Comanche, The Kiowa, The Osage, The Wichita (descended from the prehistoric Earth Home People), The Quapaw, The Caddo, the Waco, The Tawakoni, The Ute ...

And the tribes that were forced into Oklahoma include The Arapaho, Cayuga, Cheyenne, Delaware, Fox, Iowa, Kaw, Kickapoo, Miami, Otoe, Modoc, Ottawa, Pawnee, Ponca, Potawatomi, Sauk, Senaca, Shawnee, Wyandotte & Yuchi
