'That word' (below-hyperlinked to a post about the many 'well-intentioned' ministers who're regarded as #vagrants by reasonable observers from outside-The-Herd) is built on an even-deeper source ... something crucial that firms the foundation upon which our lexicon stands ...
The word “Vagrant” #Vagrancy# (Unemployed Tramp with No Steady Home) is built on ancient words that mean "to |Wander (Walk)" ( |Stroll about, |Vagary, Without Fixed |Abode).
Obviously, this term wouldn't apply to most of those ministers ... at least, not in the same way it usually applies to people (who lack 'steady living-quarters' by their poverty, rather than by 'their abundance of living-quarters to choose from').
word I surfed-upon when looking for 'a picture about rich people pretending to be poor' |
I guess it's just an example of the name-calling that people often descend-into when confronted with the hypocrisy of leaders who–though their Godlike Leader famously said that the meek inherit the earth & that The Kingdom of Heaven belongs to the poor–proudly build their lives (if not 'their ministries') on being not meek & not poor! so I guess you might judge them 'spiritually vagrant.'
