MARVEL's RUNAWAYS' villains are 'based in' (backed by?) The Church of Gibborim. They have a regular ceremony (much like the Catholic Church's "Confirmation") called The Coruscation Ceremony. I know that 'the Coruscation' is the congregants' way of rising in the church's hierarchy, but I–not exactly sure what coruscate means–keep thinking 'they're turning into cardboard?' when their pastor announces something about "next week's Coruscation Ceremony."
Oh wait; the cardboard is "coruGated" ...
Anyway, "Coruscation" (below-hyperlinked to the FANDOM-page about MARVEL's RUNAWAYS' Church of Gibborim) is built on an even-deeper source ... something crucial that firms the foundation upon which our lexicon stands ...
The word “Coruscation” is built on ancient words that mean "to Vibrate, |Glitter" (possibly based on words that mean "to Leap, Jump about" (|Scherzo)).
Reminds me of the COG's reverence for "light" ... their common farewell, "May Your Journey Continue in Brightness!"
