#Exceptions to the #iBeforeE-Rule - #Except

To Keep Up on My 'Research,'

Those 'Exceptions to the "I before E"-rule' again ... |Foreign, Neighbor, the name |Keith, |Received (and probably a few other words with the '-|Ceive'-suffix), |Eight, Counterfeit, Beige, |Sleighs, Feisty, |Caffeinated, |Weight, Weird ...
The word "|Exception|" is built on "to |Grasp + |Ex-" (to Take/|Leave Out).

I admit, a lot of those words don't actually break 'the full rule':
'I' before 'E,' except after 'C' & when sounding like 'A' (as in 'Neighbor' and 'Weigh')
And I'm sure there are other 'rule-breaking' words (tell me about them in the comments).

Or maybe I'm looking at it wrong—that's one reason
Our Father God said "It is not good for the man to be
alone":  "Because the man'll think he's right until someone else shows
him why he's not"—Won't you tell me
if I'm right-or-wrong in the comments below?
