We Rely Too Much on #Feelings ... They Paint a Picture over the True Reality - #Feeling #Feel #TheFeels

(A good word might also be "Emotion," but sometimes
it starts as a 'Feeling' relied-on for lack of the true information one
 doesn't- or can't-seek.

(For example: when one's slower, selfish progress
is interrupted by another's more-positive, more-
pertinent action; one's feelings forget to 'wait a minute'
before using that interruption as any kind of evidence.)

I see it all the time regarding "President" Donald Trump—he's regarded as 'not very thoughtful,' so people use that opinion as a "divining rod" to 'feel out' his plan or -his intention behind anything he does as President.

He does something that might be good? Then surely (people feel) he must be doing it with some nefarious, treacherous, evil plan in mind!

That word (the 'built' one below)—there might be something more to that word ... something crucial that firms the foundation upon which the our lexicon stands ...

The word “Feelings” is built on “to |Thrust, |Strike, Drive (Feel)” (the Sensitive |Side of one's Nature, |Act/|Sense of Touching, Conscious Emotion, Opinion, Capacity to feel).

One of those words reminds me of something important to remember about your feelings (and something to keep in mind & -to remind others when you start discussing your feeling with them): the word 'Opinion,' rooted firmly in the word "Choice"—you might not 'choose' your feelings, but you do 'choose' the judgments you make from them!

You know something about that word-history that
I don't mention (and that probably isn't mentioned
below)? 'Fill us in on it'- or just tell me what you
think (or ask me about something in this- or another-
word that confuses you) with a comment below,
