@LastWeekTonight on the Steps to #Impeach a @POTUS - #Impeachment #ImpeachBeeblebrox #ImpeachTrump #ImpeachClinton #ImpeachBush #ImpeachReagan #ImpeachObama
I 'overhear' Robert Mueller's RE-testimony to the Federal ... government-officials, or something ... and I-- I don't know why he's testifying again, especially when b) he's 'under strict instructions' (or something) to not tell the questioners anything but what he has already reported!
and c) I'm not going to listen enough to find out 'why.' I say "Just get to the Impeachment already!"
The Process (established by the U.S. Constitution):
- a Committee from the U.S. Government's Legislative Branch's House of Representatives holds an Inquiry into the President's involvement in "high crimes and (or) misdemeanors.'
- the House of Representatives votes to Impeach if a majority of representatives believe the President has committed Impeachable Offenses
- It's taken a while (I guess The House had to get over the idea that 'proposing the Republican Senate impeach the Republican President' is a lot like 'handing the ball to the other team and telling them to put it in their own goal'), but The House has finally called for a Committee of Inquiry!
- the President is put on trial by the Senate (the other house of the U.S. Government's Legislative Branch)
- the Senate votes as to whether the President is Guilty (like a Jury deciding on the guilt of the Accused), and he is kicked out of office if a two-thirds majority votes him out.
of course, it gets a lot more-complicated than that
... probably one of the reasons why they're pulling
Mueller in for another testimony (to get it on
'court records' rather than just 'court reports' ...

(I dunno ... I've heard that it's mostly so that American citizens find Trump 'guilty'—'the court of Public Opinion' being where most of Trump's power is held, and most Americans preferring to "watch the movie rather than -to read the book.")
