@DrJoeHanson was Curious about #Seven & decided it's @OkayToBeSmart about What it has to do with #DaysInAWeek ...

The word “Seven” is built on ancient words that mean "the Strength that comes in Groups of Seven (the Seven Stars of The Big Dipper or -of the |Pleiades (daughters of Atlas & |Pleione, transformed by Zeus into stars (tho we know now there are Eleven of those ... Hey! 'Seven-Eleven!'), The Magnificent Seven, Seven Wonders of the World, The Seventh Son, etc.)

&--just in case the code given doesn't access that video anymore--I'll take notes for a summary of the facts (which Dr. Hanson explains better in the video):

It started with The Moon (my goddess Luna?), a Wanderer like the 5 visible planets & the Sun (7 Wanderers)---the planetary week is eight days---our Norse ancestors changed some of those god-names into the names of the gods they served (they're the same gods (i.e. in parallel ), but have you ever tried to cash a check with someone else's name on it because 'you both do the same job'?)

& then ... Math! Jews probably had the seven-day week for the same reason, but they tied it to "the number of days in the creation-story' ... Dr. Hanson explains how The Moon's phases have something to do with the numbers 1, 2, 4, 7, 14 & 28, a #PerfectNumber (with #PerfectNumbers being those whose factors add up to the numbers themselves ... after 6 & 28, there are 496, 6128, and then 33,550,336!!) ... ancient sexigesimal system, 1/7=0:8,34,17,8,34,17,(repeating) a mystical fraction inspiring 7's use in religious meanings ...
