Since-When Was #GenderPreference a Giant Cornerstone of the Curriculum? #KateMckinnon (followed by @katemckinnoncom) must've gone to a 'Special' School

Kate McKinnon says she was troubled in middle school, by people using 'gay' as if it were 'something bad' ("oh, that's so disgusting it's almost gay!" etc.), and--since she thought Florida's "Don't Say Gay"-bill was intended to stop kids from doing that--she approved.

Fellow cast-member Colin Jost corrected her, telling her it was rather intended for teachers to stop teaching kids about the existence of gays (i.e. not that they are to 'deny the existence of adults with such a #preference,' but rather that they're not to teach that some people marry others of their own gender (not the way they teach that people marry others of different gender).)

We discuss the useless bill in a paying forum accessed through the 'the bold hyperlink(s)' below; you can make money by joining-in on the discussion; but first I want to teach you about those words. And I find you understand words better if you see 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum into their Foundation)

The word “Preference (Choice, Predisposition in Favor of ... #Prefer #Prefers #Preferred #Preferring #Preferential)” is built on ancient words that mean "to Place- or Set Before, Carry in Front" (Pre-, to |Bear (bear Children)).
