@MSNNews helps @LifeHacker to caution us against Wasting @DowPackaging #Styrofoam ... which is (BTW) a Valued Product in #KlondikeTheLostExpedition @Vizor_Games
LifeHacker explains Styrofoam's usefulness in a report linked through 'that word' below; but first I want to understand that word better. And I find you understand words better if you look at 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum)
The word “Styrofoam” is a Dow Chemicals Co. trademark built on ancient words that mean |Foam & #Polystyrene.
The word "Polystyrene" is a portmanteau from |Polymer of #Styrene.
The word "Styrene" is built on #Styrax (the Genus of Tree (whence comes the |Resin that contains the Hydrocarbon), also the Greek for "|Shaft of a |Lance" ... influenced by the Hebrew for |Terebinth |Resin).
The KTLE-wiki tells me that Styrofoam is either "found while fishing with the Floats" or (where I've gotten most/all the Styrofoam I have) trading a #HuntingSet in Collections.
A Hunting-Set includes the Cartridges, Flask, Hat, Bugle & Pipe.
(And of course you can get/give it as a gift.)
