#HappyBirthday to Y'all (in the #December13 #BirthdayCohort with #TaylorSwift @taylorswift13 & #SteveBuscemi @Steve_BuscemiI & ALL the #FamousBirthdays @Bing lists) on the #NationalGuardBirthday | @HolidaysCalendr @BirthdayMates @YourTango @MySundayMass

... or -on 'whichever of these holidays, awareness-dates &/or event-anniversaries you celebrate!'

Holidays Calendar describes The #NationalGuard (probably not exactly the #ArmyNationalGuard or the #SpaceForce or #AirNationalGuard (or maybe it's all three, under the #NationalGuardBureau ... you didn't hear it from me), but rather 'the American Military #previous to the Armed Forces ... a.k.a. the #Minutemen (because they could 'drop whatever they were doing & race to the battlefront in a Minute!') in a report linked through 'that word' below;

but first I want to understand that word better. And I find you understand words better if you look at 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum)

The word “Previous (\ #Previously)” is built on ancient words that mean Before + Road (|Via).

I sometimes get a little 'thrill' from realizing that I have the same birthday as several famous people, and enough other people get that thrill from seeing their birthday-cohort (both the currently-famous & the probably-not-yet famous) that I figure it's worth doing 'one of these entries for every birthday' ...

This Day's Birthday-Cohort

Astrologically, their sign is Sagittarius ... no matter WHICH stars they were born under: Taylor Swift, Dick Van Dyke, Christopher Plummer, Jaime Foxx, Ted Nugent, Steve Buscemi, Wendie Malick (from THE RANCH, Just Shoot Me), Mary Todd Lincoln, Herman Cain, Junkyard Dog, Ben Bernanke (economist who oversaw The Fed's response to the late-2000s financial crisis)

... and many others (most of whom are at the 'Birthday-Cohort' link)---

you might comment telling why we should recognize a special one I missed ...

Or maybe you'd like a reminder of 'where you've seen one of the ones we DO mention'; Ask in your comment!

My Heart of the Nation calendar says that we (Catholics) are celebrating Saint Lucy, with the clergy wearing Red Vestments for the Memorial
