@Telegraph gives some tips on Optimizing Your #Languidity (i.e. Getting Good Sleep ... or maybe that should be #Languidness) | #Languid #Languidly
The Telegraph explains sleep-optimization in a report linked through 'that word' below; but first I want to understand that word better. And I find you understand words better if you look at 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum)
The word “Languidness” is built on ancient words that mean "be |Faint, Weak, Fatigued, Listless."
Since I had to 'register for a limited-time free time,' I'll give you my notes on the report (tho Jessica Salter describes them much-much better).
- Be consistent (going to sleep at the same time every night & waking up at the same time every morning, as often as you can)
- When you wake up in the middle of the night, GET UP. Sit up & meditate or something, and you'll usually fall asleep 15 minutes sooner when you go back to bed.
- Sleep is good for the immune-system
- For the best sleep, MOVE TO A HOTEL 😏
- Unless you're recovering from a bad night's sleep, keep your midday naps down to around 20 minutes.
