#HappyBirthday to You ( #September25 #BirthdayCohort, w/ #MarkHamill @HamillHimself & @CharlesStanley & ... ) on #Lobster Day | @HolidaysCalendr @BirthdayMates #TheFamousPeople @YourTango @MySundayMass

... or -on 'whichever of these holidays &or event-anniversaries you celebrate!'

Holidays Calendar explains Lobster Day in a report linked through 'that word' below; but first I want to understand that word better. And I find you understand words better if you look at 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum)

The word “Lobster (\ #Lobsterman)” is built on ancient words that refer to the Marine |Shellfish (words that also mean |Locust, |Grasshopper; & which resemble words that mean |Mackerel, Lizard, |Spider ... Lobster is also slang for 'a |British Soldier' ).

I sometimes get a little 'thrill' from realizing that I have the same birthday as several famous people, and enough other people get that thrill from seeing their birthday-cohort (both the currently-famous & the probably-not-yet famous) that I figure it's worth doing 'one of these entries for every birthday' ...

Today's Birthday-Cohort

Astrologically, their sign is Libra (in the wake of Virgo) ... no matter WHICH stars they were born under: Michael Madsen, Pastor Charles Stanley (The Lord's Way), Michael Douglas (MARVEL's Dr. Pym) AND wife Catherine Zeta-Jones, Will Smith, Christopher Reeves, Donald Glover AND fellow STAR WARS-star Mark Hamill, basketball-star Scottie Pippen, Heather Locklear, Bridgette Wilson (who totally ISN'T Lisa Kudrow 😜), Barbara Walters, Shel Silverstein, composer Dmitry Shostakovich, Cheryl Tiegs, comedian Hal Sparks (contributor on I Love the 80's, -the 90's, -the New Millennium), Dee Dee Warwick (Dionne's sister) ... and lots more I don't recognize (maybe you do recognize some ... you can find the date at the birthday-cohort link)

(and--if you or someone you know about has a birthday today
--please mention them (and how you know them or -know
about them) in the comments, thanks)

My Heart of the Nation calendar says that we (Catholics) are celebrating Blessed Virgin Mary, with the clergy wearing White Vestments for the Optional Memorial (Green Vestments otherwise)
