Was #Carmine Falcone named-after Mr. Infantino? | @Liam_and_batman @getFANDOM

Bing Rewards told us today the name of one of BATMAN's comic-book artists was Carmine Infantino. "Carmine" and "BATMAN" immediately brought to mind "Carmine Falcone," one of the Dons of Gotham's crime-syndicate.

The Batman Wiki doesn't say anything about Mr. Infantino (only explaining that Falcone was "inspired by Marlon Brando's portrayal of Don Vito Corleone in The Godfather) in a report linked through 'that name' below; but first I want to understand that name better. And I find you understand words better if you look at 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum)

The name “Carmine” is built on ancient words that mean Song (on ancient foundations that mean Garden). #Carmen #Carmina #Carmo #Carmello #Carmel #Carmela #Carmelita #Carmelo #Carme #Karmela #Karmen #Carminho
