Does #CoochieCoochieCoo ACTUALLY refer to the #Coochie we grownups @gabby_UCMaroon don't tell the kids about? (& Yes, @KateMicucci knows what her name sounds like) | #Micucci #CoochieCoo

'Micucci' (below-hyperlinked to my entry about 'Euphemisms') is built on an even-deeper source ... something crucial that firms the foundation upon which our lexicon stands ...

The name “Micucci” is a pet form of "Mico," short for an Italian form of |Michelle.

A Twitter-companion brings up people's use of use of Coochie-Coochie Coo and its homophony with 'that word,' so I look it up, and find a lot of debate (we'll get into later)---but first ...

"Coochie-Coochie Coo" is based on Imitation of a Baby's Gurgling (possibly).
"Coochie" as slang for Vagina is from the lyrics of "The Ham-Fat Man," which accompanies a dance called The Hoochy Koochy (or it might be based on the Japanese word for Little |Mouth).
