#BibleStudy of #TheBookOfEphesians (Letter to the #Ephesians (in the Church of #Ephesus) ... #ChapterByChapter #VerseByVerse)
What I show here is 'the group of words' that couch "that word"
(below hyperlinked to my list of Bible-books) into your vocabulary ...
deeper meanings that 'firm the foundations' upon which our lexicon stands
...
The word “Ephesus (Greek city in ancient Asia Minor, home of the church of #Ephesians (which is the title of the Christian apostle's letter printed in their New Testament book), and also a center of worship-of-|Artemis)” is built on ancient words that mean |Overseer.
Like I say at 'the books-of-The-Bible list,' the English (and other
common-language) versions are mostly 'ad lib's on the original text (which
would sound kinda 'caveman' if you interpreted it like I'm going-to (without
knowing 'the intended tenses' etc.).
Kenneth Copeland Ministries shares a selection of a few of its verses (in the
'King James Version'-translation, maybe? 'New King James Version'? 'The
Message'-Bible?), but--ad libbing off of BibleHub's interlinear publication--
