@Google's New #initiative @WebCreators, helping us #ContentCreators inspire & educate More Readers | @Bing
Their introduction (to me & my fellow content-creators, anyway) is linked through 'the main word' below. Here, I list a few 'root-words' that tie that word into our lexicon....
The word “Initiative” (the power to initiate) is built on ancient words that mean "to Begin" (see #Initial ... I suppose the noun 'the Strategy intended to Improve a Situation, a Fresh |Approach' stems from that same root). #TakeTheInitiative
"Initial" (both the adjective for 'at the beginning' and the noun for 'first letter' (or the verb for marking with initials)) and #Initiate (both "to introduce someone to a process or group" and "one who is being so-introduced") are built on ancient words that mean "to Go In or -Into."
#Initially #Initialed #Initialing #AbInitio #Initialese #Initialism #Initialize #Uninitiated #Initiand (think "Initiate-ee") #Initiated #Initiating #Initiator #Initiation #Initiates #Initiatory
Google's Keyword-blog gives a more-detailed description of the initiative.
