Do Kids Still Play the 'Run Around & Touch Each Other without #Consent'-Game (a.k.a. the "Tag" in @WorldChaseTag)? | @theRyanGeorge @askdifference
'That word' (below-hyperlinked to a discussion about that 'non-consensual touching' game) is built on an even-deeper source ... something crucial that firms the foundation upon which our lexicon stands ...
The word “Consent” (& #Consensual #Consenting #Consentual #Consented ... the dictionary mentions #Consensus) is built on ancient words that mean "literally to |Feel |Together ( |Sense, |With)" (the evolution from 'Feeling Together' to |Agreeing or |Permitting apparently took place in the French before it became an English word).
The World Chase Tag professionals probably have all their documentation on-record ... a long time before Ryan George voiced some possible concerns:
I looked-up 'consensual' ... "consentual" is an alternative spelling!
