#GetThePoint: Your Immune System is Just as Much (or More) a #WasteDisposal System as -a #Shield against Viruses | #Waste #Shielding #Wasting #Shielded #Wasted #WasteBasket

Oh sure, maybe 'much of the immune-system' (mostly your skin, I guess) is a shield to keep the bugs out of your body; but a lot of it is like your digestive system (I think it even uses 'the same channels' ... one of my grandmother's coarser sayings comes to mind: "Eat shit & die."), paralyzing the bugs & flushing them out with the waste!

'Those words' (below-hyperlinked to a post about 'what the immune system actually does to viruses' ("Into the colon they go!")) is built on an even-deeper source ... something crucial that firms the foundation upon which our lexicon stands ...

The word “Waste” is built on ancient words that mean "to Leave, Abandon, Give-Out (to Break-Down)."
The word “Shield” is built on ancient words that mean "to |Cut" (on the notion of 'the piece of Armor being a Flat Piece of Wood made |Splitting a Log').

I guess I ought to do an 'anatomy study-aid' of this,
