'That city-name' (below-hyperlinked to the New York Times article on the spread of CoronaVirus 2019) is built on an even-deeper source ... something crucial that firms the foundation upon which our lexicon stands ...

The name of the city “Wuhan (武漢/武汉)” is built on the names of two (of the three) towns that merged to form the city—Wǔchāng (武昌区) Hànkǒu (汉口).
Wǔchāng (武昌区) literally means "|Prospering from |Military" (regarding its logistics role of the military bases established before the Battle of Red Cliffs).
Hànkǒu (汉口) literally means "|Mouth of the Han (|River)."
"Han ( )" is the name of a Chinese Dynasty founded by Liu Bang (in Sichuan and Shaanxi), named for the Qin Empire's |Hanzhong Commandery (tho Wikipedia says the dynasty got its name from the river ...
... confirmed when I find that "Hanzhong (汉中)" literally means "|Middle of the Han River.").
I can't find the ancient base of "Han" (probably different
from the "Corellian" roots of Mr. Solo's first name).
