@CopelandNetwork claims God "Wills #Financial Prosperity to Believers who Give," but that's mostly so Believers aren't Afraid to *Take* the Available #Finance

'That word' (below-hyperlinked to Kenneth Copeland Ministries' 'flagship'-magazine) is built on an even-deeper source ... something crucial that firms the foundation upon which our lexicon stands ...

The word “Finance” is built on words that mean “to |End- or Settle a Dispute or -Debt” (|Payment of |Fine or -Ransom, |Manage- or |Furnish with-Money).

The article "Profile of a Prosperous Believer" gives us a few Scripture-passages about 'how God's blessing maketh rich & addeth no sorrow,' but the first Scripture-passage that pops up for me regarding 'God & money' is
Is it right to pay taxes to Caesar or not?”
... Jesus said. Here, show me the coin used for the tax.” When they handed him a Roman coin, he asked, “Whose picture and title are stamped on it?”
“Caesar’s,” they replied.
“Well, then,” he said, “give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and give to God what belongs to God.”
I'm sure Brother Copeland has some 'work-around' there—some 'clarification' like "he wasn't saying that God gives you money with his own face on it."

What difference does it make 'whose face is on our
money,' except that it's a face buyers-&-sellers all
recognize to verify that the offered cash is 'valid
currency'? ... not the point here ...

The point here is ... 'God will Prosper You Financially' isn't to say that "God will give you money" (although 'giving you money' is one of the definitions of "Financing"). It's more like saying 'God won't burden you with more debt than you can repay (with the help of friends if you can't carry it alone).'
