I see the press-conference 'Mick Mulvaney' gave for some reason (Stephanie Grisham is the present "PressSec," so What was Mulvaney doin` talkin` to the Press???)

I don't quite remember exactly what was said (it's a few minutes into the video above ... starting at about 18:40) ... but I recall the exchange was: the reporter asked Mulvaney (in part of a series of questions) about 'how "President Trump's withholding of funds from Ukraine until they investigate possible corruption" might be considered Quid pro Quo,' and Mulvaney replied "We do that all the time."

But 'The Press' (both the actual news-people and the 'main ones I watch' (The Daily Show, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert ... WEEKEND UPDATE)) pounced on that, saying Mulvaney there-admitted it was Quid pro Quo! Mulvaney "walked it (that statement) back" later on, because he wasn't exactly referring to 'the Quid pro Quo'; I get the feeling he was talking about 'typically not spending money where officials don't feel it's being well-spent.'

This is why politicians typically give 'too long'-answers to questions—because–if they allow too much 'inference' in their statements (usually pronouns, where it's assumed that 'everybody knows which 'noun' they're referring-to)–The Press (and their audience) will often put THE WRONG WORDS in the politicians' mouths!

'That word' (below-hyperlinked to my post about parts-of-speech) is built on an even-deeper source ... something crucial that firms the foundation upon which the our lexicon stands ...

The word “Pronoun” is built on ancient words that mean “in |Place of + |Noun, |Name.”

Or maybe I'm looking at it wrong—that's one reason
Our Father God said "It is not good for the man to be
alone":  "Because the man'll think he's right until someone else shows
him why he's not"—Won't you show me
if I'm right-or-wrong in the comments below?
