Why You Call Your Lover #Bae (If You Catch Yourself starting to call Your Lover 'Baby') @NewRepublic

Tell where to send email-alerts when I update the source-finding here

A friend of mine commented (on Facebook) that 'he's tired of women's calling him 'Baby.'" I replied, 'What about "Bae"? Is it alright if they call you "Bae"?'

I did a little 'research,' found out "how humans evolved 'calling loved-ones "Baby."'" But I don't think the New Republic article mentioned 'Bae.'

'That word' is built on an even-deeper source ... something crucial that firms the foundation upon which the our lexicon stands ...

The word “Bae” is probably an abbreviation of “Baby.” But it might also be an 'acronym' (tho it probably didn't start that way, making it a "backronym") of "Before Anyone Else."

although ... Rumpelstiltskin–in ABC's Once Upon a Time, before he became The Dark One–called his only son 'Bae' ... short for "Baelfire."

Or maybe I'm looking at it wrong—that's one reason
Our Father God said "It is not good for the man to be
alone":  "Because the man'll think he's right until someone else shows
him why he's not"—Won't you show me
if I'm right-or-wrong in the comments below?
