A Crucial Part of True #SelfAwareness: Things to #Remember @TashaEurich (gives one of those @TEDTalks) #Remembrance
Tasha Eurich gives a TED-talk explaining why the best question to ask yourself (in order to achieve/maintain self-awareness) is not 'why am I doing this?' but rather 'what ... what am I doing? what will this cause? what do I need in order to continue doing this?' ... or something—click the link above to see the video ...
But I remembered this TED-talk when I saw a 'Celtic Druid meme' ...
That word (the 'built' one below)—there might be something more to that word ... something crucial that firms the foundation upon which the our lexicon stands ...
But I remembered this TED-talk when I saw a 'Celtic Druid meme' ...
... another what you have to remember—before 'what
you're planning to do' and 'what will come of it,' you have to remember 'what you are' (possibly in light of 'what you were') and what that means right now.
(Christians often think of this in a 'Biblical' frame-of-mind—to remember 'what we once were' (mud & clay) and 'what Our Father & Our Christ-Brother had to give to allow us to shine in glory today.')
- The meme above reminds us that
- as Water (about 60% of the human body, & a basic element in Christian baptism), we
- Cry
- Cleanse
- Flow
- Let Go (the meaning behind the word for Christians' gatherings (which often end with an announcement that they are 'released' into the world))
- as Fire (I don't know how that is, but Jesus tells us it's part of the real baptism), we
- Burn
- Tame
- Adapt (??? ... this physics forum says that fire is not living because it does not adapt!)
- Ignite
- as Air, we
- Observe (??? ... I guess the meme's referring to the location of the best observation-point—high up in the 'air')
- Breathe
- Focus (???)
- Decide (???)
- as Earth, we
- Ground
- Give (??? ... I guess this is 'regarding "all of nature" as 'Earth')
- Build
- Heal (??? ... maybe in reference to 'those medical salves of mud' you see people using in spas)
- as Spirit (literally "breath," though the Celtic Druid Witch might tie that word to a different root), we
You know something about that word-history that
I don't mention (and that probably isn't mentioned
below)? 'Fill us in on it'- or just tell me what you
think (or ask me about something in this- or another-
word that confuses you) with a comment below,
