With all the marijuana-activity in Oklahoma (documented by the Oklahoma Gazette & their EXTRACT Magazine), I've wondered (and haven't yet found out) exactly why cannabis is insisted-on as such a 'wonder-drug.'
I read about the 'Effects' ...
The word “Effect” carries the scent of “to |Make-, |Do-, |Set- or |Put |Out (see |Ex-)” ... like a |Fact?
... and I can't see any difference between 'the drug' and 'a good media-diet (with lots of comedy).'
Looking for the site above, I also found one about 'why you shouldn't smoke marijuana.' I thought it would list some of the negative effects of abuse-of-the drug, but no—it was more about 'how there are lots of better ways to take the drug (edibles, vaping, lip-balming).'
... But I'm still vigilant—You know anything about how this word developed into 'meaning something different from the meanings traced above'? Comment below!
