The word “Kryptonite” ('that which makes someone Weak,' derived from its use as "a Substance that weakens the otherwise-Invulnerable protagonist" in DC Comics' Superman) carries the scent of “Krypton (or 'Krypton') + Meteorite.”
"Krypton" carries the scent of "Hidden (Crypt)" (though DC's Schuster & Siegel did use the word as 'the name of the planet that the Kryptonite came from').
