That's the word that comes to mind when I think about why I don't want Religion to help me decide who to vote-for.
The word “Gullible” is rooted in ancient words that mean “Dupe, Sucker” (plus "-ability").
I obviously don't mean to say that 'my fellow faithful believers are dupes or suckers,' but ... more like 'we ALL have "the brains of dupes & suckers," but most of us "consciously correct that"' (maybe that's "The Forge" that The Bible talks about—taking "the bulky material" the subconscious mind sees & using the conscious mind to hammer away the lies & fairy-tales).
