The word “Rosary” is built on ancient words that mean “Rose” (Garland, String of |Beads, |Series of Prayers, |Garden ...from the medieval conceit of describing |Collections as "Bouquets").
I remember at least one Rosary with beads that weren't "beads," but rather were 'knots tied in the "string" (which was more like "rope," or maybe that was just the way my young, still-growing mind saw it),' and they really did look more like 'little roses!'
"The Rosary is The Bible!" (I know he said 'The Bible in beads,' but he also explained 'how he meant that')—I'll probably direct atheists to this video when I see them talking about 'all the crazy stuff "The Bible says" God planned out (taking a nation 40 years to walk a short distance, killing children for meaningless annoyances, etc.)'
