The word "India" is built on ancient words that mean "River" (and we all know how America's Natives 'inherited' the name 'Indians'—Christopher Columbus was attempting to sail around the world, so–though now we know he barely even made it 'halfway' (only crossing one Ocean, rather than two)–he thought that he made it all the way to India and so called the people he met there 'Indians').
