How do they Know they're #Accurate when they say #JesusSaid ... or #TheBibleSays ... #Accuracy #Accurately #Inaccuracy #Inaccuracies

I often refer to 'sayings attributed to Lord Jesus Christ,' saying (just like Christians typically do) "Jesus said" or "The Bible says" or "Jesus tells us/His-disciples," even though I'm fully aware that a) all those sayings are re-edits of re-translations of 'oral traditions' (a.k.a. rumors), b) the canonical Gospels weren't written until about 30 years AFTER Jesus' death-&-resurrection.

So the accuracy of 'His Words' is decided not-so-much by "His record of actually having said them," but by 'all his friends' friends agreeing that it's something he would've said'—echoing the principle 'Jesus told His disciples' when 'He said' "when two-or-more are gathered in my name, I am there among them" (the principle being something like 'if two-or-more of you agree that I said something, that's all the proof you need.')

The word "Accurate" carries traces of "To + to Take Care of (Cure)" (Precise, stronger than Correct but weaker than Exact)
