@Cheddar explains Where the #Shoulders Went "Wrong" and -How we can bring the #Shoulder up #ShoulderToShoulder with 'Optimal' | #Shouldered #Shoulders #ShoulderToCryOn #HeadAndShoulders #ColdShoulder (in @Gods_Word_Bible @BibleHub_ #VerseByVerse #WordByWord #BibleStudy's #Nehemiah9TwentyNine) #Shouldering #ShouldersBack

Cheddar explains humans' shoulders' devolution in a video linked through 'that word' below; but before you check that out, I would like to remind you of that word's "foundation"---to help you use the word a little better ...

The word "Shoulder" is built on ancient words that mean "Shield (I envision a football-player charging into the line, ramming the offensive linemen with his 'Shoulder' ... which is where the verb comes from (Well, maybe not 'from the game'; but the verb originated from 'pushing with the Shoulder,' and not 'lifting up upon the Shoulder')."

Nehemiah 9:29 - odd; it's only translated "gave you the cold shoulder" in the God's Word to the Nations MISSION SOCIETY version
"You warned them in order to bring them back to your teachings, but they became arrogant and would not obey your commandments. They sinned by not following your regulations. If anyone follows them, he will find life in them. But they gave you the cold shoulder, became impossible to deal with, and wouldn't listen."
The English section BibleHub's interlinear outline of the verse (here without the Hebrew-word, -transliteration & Strong's listing for each word (that's available at the BibleHub-link)---although each 'cell' belongs to only one Hebrew word):
to that you might bring them back against them And testified did heed
and not acted proudly And yet they Your law which if
in sinned but against Your judgements Your commandments and they shrugged
by them and he shall live a man does and not
Stiffened and their necks a stubborn their shoulders would hear
