"Shutdown" Doesn't Kill the #Kernel? #TheTechieGuy @Liron_Segev explains

The Techie Guy explains what you need to do about the kernal in a report you can access through 'the emboldened link(s)' below; but first I want to teach you about those words. And I find you understand words better if you see 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum into their Foundation)

The word “Kernel” (the original word ... I'm not sure about 'the computer-OS application,' but they're probably related) is built on ancient words that mean "Grain."

On the StackOverflow forum, they find its foundation in ancient words that mean "Seed, Corn."

Although shutdown might not #KillTheKernal it DOES protect your computer from a lot of the effects of 'running it too long,' so DO go ahead with the "normal" shutdown regularly (every day or so).
