SONIC offers their featured items on an order-menu you can access through 'the emboldened link(s)' below; but first I want to teach you about those words. The word “Sonic” is built on ancient words that mean "to Sound" (the restaurant changed its name (from Top Hat root beer stand & steak house) when they added the intercom-system and started delivering to diners with "Service at the Speed of Sound").

The video-game character (which now has an important genome named after it) took the name because it became so popular that apparently it's self-explanatory (maybe that's the hedgehog's name because 'it runs faster than the speed of sound,' maybe it's because of the dance-moves they wanted to give it ...).
