Today (#January25) is Also /NOT/ #OppositeDay, a day which Can't Exist because of the #OppositeDayParadox | @HolidaysCalendr #Opposite #Opposites #Oppositely #OpEd
Holidays Calendar explains that paradox in a report linked through 'that word' below; but first I want to understand that word better. And I find you understand words better if you look at 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum)
The word “Opposite” is built on ancient words that mean "in Front of, in the Way of (Obstructing?)" + "to Put, Set, Place (Position)" (an 'Op-Ed' is so-called because it's placed Opposite the Editorial-page).
