Microsoft displays 2021's Emmy-winners in a report linked through 'that word' below; but first I want to understand that word better. And I find you understand words better if you look at 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum)
“Emmy” isn't 'the name of the Muse sculpted in the statue' (whose name might've been |Clio, |Euterpe, |Melpomene, |Terpsichore, |Erato, |Polyhymnia, |Urania or |Calliope, but I think it was |Thalia), but rather it's a variation of #Immy (an early |Orthicon Camera, with a name that's probably built on the word |Image).
