#Sad that You Don't Think I Care

I expressed this sadness to a friend (though I think I phrased it more "You Don't Think I Can Help"), and she ... she doesn't think I care about the matter she needed help-with.

(I guess I could ask about it ... but I'm afraid my occasional Energy-Vampire behavior makes her think 'I'm only doing it to get more spotlight-dopamine.' I guess this is why church-elders suppose people need to pray to Our Father God; the elders don't know you'll accept the help they know you need unless you ask for it, so how could they expect God to know you'll accept the help God knows you need unless you ask for it?)

'That word' (below-hyperlinked to my post about a mental process that compounds one's sadness) is built on an even-deeper source ... something crucial that firms the foundation upon which our lexicon stands ...

The word “Sad” is built on words that mean “Too Satisfied (Sated, as in 'I'm Full!').”
(I hope you can see how that sense evolved—going with the
'Full at a Meal'-idea; you're Disillusioned with the Idea that 'eating
more' is a good thing, and feel that 'eating more' is now more-Painful
than any pleasure the taste may bring ... just like the happiness is made sour
by the knowledge that it must end (to take a rest before it can start
again tomorrow?).)

Donald Trump uses that word a lot—often his summary-analysis of the situation he's tweeting-about.

He's one of the ones who have ruined Twitter—it used to be, Twitter was one of the places you'd go to 'Press-Release your opinion' (in One Tweet ... maybe once every few hours); nowadays, people get out their phones & blurt-out every little thought that occurs to them 😠

Or am I looking at that wrong (or 'wrongly' 🤓)? Tell
me how-wrong/right I am in the comments below 😁
