#MMJID @GHWCBD @UWD23OKC (#MMJCard #MedicalMarijuanaRecommendations) vs. #Prescription - #Recommend #Prescribe #Commend ... #Represcribe?

I'm fulfilling a little of my word-of-mouth duty soon, but first ... "Prescription" vs. "Recommendation"—I felt like there might be something more to those words ... something crucial that firms the foundation upon which you build your "regimen" ...

The word “Prescription” is built on ancient words that mean “|Before + to Write, |Cut” (in Law, "the Right to something through |Long Use"; written Directions by a Doctor).
The word “Recommend” is built on ancient words that mean “Again, Back, Anew, Against (|Turn) + to Commit to one's Care” (act of recommending someone/something as Worthy).

At CannaCon (today (Saturday the 28th) is the last day of it), Green Hope Wellness Clinic is offering "Medical Recommendations" (MMJIDs are usually around $100, but this ad doesn't mention the price) at Booth 1116 from 10am to 4pm

50% of people who switch to medical cannabis stop taking prescription medications.
To my relatively-unexperienced mind, that seems similar to saying '50% of people who moved to Sodom-&-Gomorrah stop worrying about tomorrow' (i.e. it doesn't mention anything bad about 'needing medical marijuana').

But thinking about it a little, "switching to medical cannabis" requires a form of 'prescription' ... a doctor's recommendation that you be granted a Medical Marijuana Card—which I don't have (and have barely-started 'researching'), but which seems a little like 'getting a library-card' (as opposed to 'only reading the books a teacher lets you read') ... rather than 'giving your doctor's note to the pharmacist and buying only the medicines your doctor prescribes,' you just 'walk into the dispensary, show them your card, and buy whatever variety you feel like buying' 😎
