That word (and the related words) comes up as I read about a group that WowApp is promoting. I'm reading the site linked through the bold text (a site where you can find out how to Be A Helper) ...
The word “Veterinary” is built on ancient words that mean "of or pertaining to Beasts of Burden" (Animal- or Cattle Doctor ... possibly Experienced (on the notion that Older |Steed is Mature Enough to Draw a Wagon)).
