#ROKU, the @ROKU Streaming-Service (available on #RokuDevices, @AmazonFireTV, @Samsung #SmartTV, @Apple @AppStore, @GooglePlay ...) | @Forbes
I discuss 'how I was introduced to ROKU' in a report linked through 'the hyperlinks' below; but first I want to teach you about those words. And I find you
understand words better if you see 'the words at their base' (then going on to
look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at
those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum into their
Foundation)
The word |ROKU| is Japanese (六) that means |Six (as it was the sixth company that ReplayTV-founder Anthony Wood's started (the Wikipedia-page's writer is 'mum' on 'the four companies in-between' ... or maybe |ROKU| was made on his sixth attempt to get something started in streaming-services, because Forbes says he started ROKU "after he sold ReplayTV to SONICblue"
(implying that one happened immediately after the other, and not mentioning any other companies
(unless there was a treehouse-building and/or software-writing company they implied that I don't have the business-acumen to detect)))).
So what does ROKU offer?
Well first-of-all, their main focus is their equipment---not 'their own
channel' so-much-as "All the Channels their machines pick-up," including:
