'That name' (below-hyperlinked to a list of side-effects that accompany the immunotherapy that "cured" President Jimmy Carter's cancer (well, it's not 'cured'; but it definitely trained his immune-system to beat the cancer into remission)) is built on an even-deeper source ... something crucial that firms the foundation upon which our lexicon stands ...

The word “Keytruda” (trade-name for generic #Pembrolizumab) is built on ... I don't know (but I'm still trying to find)—but I'm guessing it has something to do with discoveries at |Kyoto University; ... maybe I'll pick up some clues if I read through the Drugs.com-page remembering its FDA approval-history, 'taking notes' here). 
It's a human PD-1 (programmed death receptor-1)-blocking antibody used as treatment for: Melanoma (Metastatic), Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer, Head and Neck Cancer, Hodgkin's Lymphoma, Urothelial Carcinoma, Gastric Cancer, Cervical Cancer, Hepatocellular Carcinoma, Merkel Cell Carcinoma, Renal Cell Carcinoma, Small Cell Lung Cancer, Esophageal Carcinoma, Endometrial Cancer, Squamous Cell Carcinoma;
