#SupportingJournalism: Where'd They Get the Words #Verde & #Clinic (in #HerbaVerdeWellnessClinic @Herba_Verde, with a Bargain Available until 4/21/2020)? @WordHippo @WikiMedia @issuu
True, Herba Verde Wellness Clinic isn't ONLY about 'Medical Marijuana' (MMJ); but I'm willing to bet that most of their money comes from cannabis-related purchases, so I should probably share this ad-here rather than -on the Facebook word-of-mouth:
'Those word' (below-hyperlinked to the clinic's website) is built on an even-deeper source ... something crucial that firms the foundation upon which our lexicon stands ...
The word “Verde” is built on words that mean “Green (both the Color and the Ecology), Verdant, Undeveloped (en Español), slang for Marijuana; Unripe, figuratively Inexperienced, Naïve, Coarse, Unwell, Sick” (lots of meanings coming from the Asturian, the Corsican, the Dutch, the Esperanto, the Galician, the Italian, the Norwegian, the (Old- and current-) Portuguese, the Romanian).
The name (place-name or surname) "Verde" is built on 'the Green of-a Place or -someone's Eyes or -the Clothes someone Usually Wears."
The word "Clinic" is built on words that mean "to Lean (Practice at Sick-Bed)."
Know anything else interesting about that? Comment!
