Most Christians Are as Wrong as #Pharisees Were; They LIE about #thePowerOfGod @CharlesCapps1 @CopelandNetwork @Ecosia @OfficialSGIUSA #Pharisee #Pharisaic
Oh, all power comes from God. And God has the authority over all that power ... but ...

'That word' (below-hyperlinked to lists of various Universities one attends to become such a Pharisee) is built on an even-deeper source ... something crucial that firms the foundation upon which our lexicon stands ...
GOD DOES NOTHING
All the time, I hear people making the claim, "I prayed, an` God-healed my sickness or -gave me a job or -got me some money or etc.-etc." ... No! The truth is 'You prayed, and thus reminded yourself-that your immune-system will take care of your sickness soon (with help from doctors-etc), -that the employer you choose might show grace in considering your application, -that PEOPLE might give you some money (out of charity or in exchange for goods or services you provide), -etc.etc.'
I see Pastor Annette Capps (Charles' daughter) telling her congregation that "God can do anything," and I–if I had been there (and not 'watching her preach on TV') I would've ... well, I probably just would've stormed out (maybe 'noisily,' slamming-a-door or something); but I would wish I'd've--
Because she did relatively the same thing the Pharisees did (not their fault—it's what they were raised seeing all the preachers do before them)—claim that 'giving- or behaving- or speaking the way they instruct you to' will win you 'favor from Our Grand Father.'
Why do those Pharisees believe 'that's how it works'? ... sort-of the way children believe Santa Clause gives them good gifts—the Pharisees studied & listened & prayed & meditated & achieved great status & great wealth & great esteem (from the community & themselves), so they are convinced that everyone else who achieves it must do the same things they did.
The word “Pharisee” is built on words that mean “Separate” (the negative meaning (Self-Righteous Person, Formalist, Hypocrite") is from the Ancient Jewish Sect-Distinguished by Strict Observance but -Regarded (by Jesus, and then by His Disciples) as Haughty & Pretentious).
That Leads Me to 'What I Always Thought the True Gospel Was'
Not "Believe that Jesus died in your place, and you get to go to Heaven when you die"–most Christians have the wrong idea about 'Heaven' (they believe the lie that it's "a paradise where the spirits of the dead are transported when they're released from their bodies," when the truth is more like the Buddhist teaching of The Ten Concurrent Worlds—Heaven is 'a reality entirely within human imagination' until humans both/either see how reality is actually Heaven and/or bring the imagined Heaven into reality (building Heavenly works, taking Heavenly action, encouraging others' Heavenly works & actions & construction-projects).
Jesus Himself told us that, when He said:
“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Therefore go and make disciplesc of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Funny how Bibles & preachers & other Christians who 'spread this good news' always call it The Great Commission, when in-fact He only " committed" a fraction of the power He discussed ...
Silly me ... He's not 'giving us any of the power He
talks about,' not so-much as He is 'entrusting us with
talks about,' not so-much as He is 'entrusting us with
the task' of disciple-ing (not "making" disciples–that's
a word the KJV-translators felt they had to throw in there
–but ... the verb is "Disciple"—meaning
He just wanted them (and the rest of us who follow
–but ... the verb is "Disciple"—meaning
He just wanted them (and the rest of us who follow
Him today & -in the future) to be the way He taught
But 'one of His Teachings' gives us great power—Brother Kenneth Copeland often refers to this power (subliminally, if you don't know the original teaching) when he & his fellow ministers tell us to "Have Faith in God."
'The Original Teaching' (or at least 'an echo of The Original Teaching') is given when Jesus told a fig-tree to wither & die, and–when it did, and His disciples asked how it happened–He told them about The God kind of faith—the faith that moves mountains into the sea, the faith that forgives aught that the pray-er has against any repentant sinner.
Or am I looking at that wrong (or 'wrongly' 🤓)? Tell
