@KyleButtAP (that's #ApologeticsPress @ApoPress) Calls Atheism Out on the #MaleChauvinism They Accuse Christianity-of | #Chauvinist #Chauvinism #MaleChauvinistPigs
Episode 4 of the apologist speaker's Amazon-series, he tells us how–though atheists claim that The Bible is sexist (against women)–there's actually more anti-feminine rhetoric in 'The Theory of Evolution' (which atheists take as their "creation mythology").
I've only watched about-half of this episode so far, but Kyle makes some claims I'm pretty-sure most 'atheists' (the ones who complain the loudest, anyway) can argue-against ... the main one I remember? 'You can go through the entire Bible & not find one anti-woman statement!'
I hear that, and immediately imagine atheists speaking up, "But what about-man being the prime human & woman being a lesser clone of him? -the very first sin coming through the actions of a woman? -all the royalty being male, except when being used to tear the kingdom apart? -the Whore of Babylon?"
I'm sure Kyle addresses all that later in the episode, but the part that I saw was mostly just focusing on the fact that The Bible prizes Wisdom above all virtues & -that it's always referred-to as female. Interesting–though–how the wisest ruler was a male King Solomon.
I don't know if he ever used the word male chauvinist (I think he may have used sexist), but ... chauvinism is the word that comes to mind when I think of 'the kind of guys atheists think wrote The Bible' (a male chauvinist pigs).
'That word' (below-hyperlinked to an offer on Amazon's Prime Video streaming-service) is built on an even-deeper source ... something crucial that firms the foundation upon which our lexicon stands ...
The word |Chauvinist| is built on the name of one of a |Soldier in |Napoleon |Bonaparte's |Army—a solder who Idolized the Leader & his |Empire long after they were both History (leading to its meaning "|Blind |Nationalism, Loyal Patriotism, |Excessive Belief in the |Superiority of one's Race/Gender/Social-Class," a form of the name Calvin).
Tell me how-wrong/right I am in the comments below 😁
