Weird Obsession with @TheCwSupergirl's #Glasses-Activated PANTS! @SupergirlStaff #Glass #Glassy #Glassware
I missed an episode between 'the season-opener (which introduced "the PANTS")' & the episode I just saw, maybe Brainy deactivated the glasses-switch ... or maybe there's a more-specific off-whipping technique that activates the suit;
but this episode includes a scene where she whips off her glasses to examine some lab-equipment more-closely, and ... no PANTS ...
'That word' ("glasses," as I've already posted about 'pants') is built on an even-deeper source ... something crucial that firms the foundation upon which the our lexicon stands ...
The word “Glasses ('plural of "Glass,"' yes; but also the word for 'Spectacles (the Eye-Wear)') is built on “to Shine” (Four-eyes; Amber, Grey, Green, Blue, Yellow).
It took me a little while to find 'the video above,' and I still can't find "the scene where Brainy explains how to put the suit on (involving nano-tech like you see in the video)"—unless I watch the whole episode again (an episode that'll probably also be available here, just in case The CW needs to take it down to 'make room for' newer episodes) ...
yes! a little over halfway-through, Brainy 'gives her the new suit' by placing a small device on the right-hinge of her glasses and telling her, "Take care when removing your glasses in public; for the next time you whip those off, your new suit will materialize ... or dematerialize as needed."
So did she spend a lot of time practicing 'which whip-off's materialize the suit' and which just 'lets her use her x-ray vision (or whatever she was doing in "the coroner's lab" in episode 3)?'
Or maybe I'm looking at it wrong—that's one reason
