@SupergirlStaff @TheCwSupergirl gives @MelissaBenoist a New #BattleCry: #PANTS! (like @TheTickTV's "SPOON!") #Pantaloons

... The Tick's "spoon!" is from the 'Saturday Morning Cartoon' The Tick; I'm not sure if they continued to use it on the Prime Video version—there's one good way to find out, though!

On the season-opener of Season 5 of Supergirl, Brainy built her a new uniform (with technology that makes it materialize whenever she whips her glasses off). When she first 'tried it on,' her reaction inspired a new battle-cry (about 40 seconds into the trailer below ... but with more of a 'confident declaration'-tone than the 'surprised exclamation' that Melissa Benoist expertly gave it):

'That word' is built on an even-deeper source ... something crucial that firms the foundation upon which the our lexicon stands ...

The word “Pants” is short for "Pantaloons," built on “All-Compassionate (Entirely Lion)” (Tight Trousers, worn by a 'Silly Old Man'-Character in Italian Comedy; later, those said to be worn by the Dominant Member of the Household).

Interesting ... 'to Fly by the Seat of one's Pants' was originally in reference to airplane-pilots able to sense the plane's condition & situation by the engine-vibrations felt where they sat (in cases of lesser visibility).

Or maybe I'm looking at this wrong—that's one reason
 Our Father God said "It is not good for the man to be
 alone":  "Because the man'll think he's right until someone else shows
 him why he's not"—Won't you show me
 if I'm right-or-wrong in the comments below?
