#ArnoldSchnitzel @Schwarzenegger calls @ATTN: to the Battle against #Gerrymandering - #Gerrymander

I guess I hold Mr. Schwarzenegger with the same esteem as we are supposed to hold 'ancient sages' (in cartoons ... or 'animated forms,' at least: like Pocahontas's 'Oak Tree'-grandmother, that huge turtle- and/or that 'Rock Biter'-in The Neverending Story, the wall of the brig in that Pirates of the Caribbean-sequel)—when he describes "Gerrymandering" (in the video linked at the main below), you get the feeling he's telling us about some 'ancient evil we've got to rise up-against!'

That word—I felt like there might be something more to that word ... something crucial that firms the foundation of our 'battle against' it (or our 'correction of' it) ...

The word “Gerrymandering”–the term (coined by an Essex County (Massachusetts) newspaper-editor) for 'Arranging Political Areas in disregard of natural boundaries so as to give One Party an Advantage in Elections')–is built on the name “Gov. Elbridge Gerry” + the word "Salamander (the Shape a 'gerrymandered' Legislative District resembles)."
