OKLAHOMA GAZETTE's 'Cannabis Correspondence' reviews a variety-of-flower that Edmond, Oklahoma's Craft Cannabis Co. developed.
CCC named the plant after the two plants it's a hybrid-of: Black Domina & Jack Herer. But I'm sure that CCC's name-choice was influenced (at least partially) by the famous card-game.
The word “Blackjack” carries the scent of “Black + Jack” (and was also a word for 'the Pirate Flag' & 'a |Hand-|Weapon' & 'a |Tar-|Coated Leather |Jug for Beer' before the name was given to the |Card-Game).
Just in case it's not clear, all the 'gardening'-words used
in this entry (including "chiba," which I hadn't heard before)
–plant, flower–are referring to marijuana-
varieties.
