#Interceding for @POTUS @realDonaldTrump, @NancyPelosi & @ChuckSchumer; but not like @CopelandNetwork implies we should #Intercede #Interceded #Intercede #Intercession
In a recent Prognostication, Kenneth Copeland Ministries insisted that their fellow believers need to "intercede" for Trump, Schumer, Pelosi, and all our other elected leaders (even bartender Ocasio-Cortez).
In the context of that letter, I think he wants to imply that we need to 'pray to God that God gives the leaders the wisdom they need to navigate this nation along its rightful course'; but that's not the meaning 'my inner man' hears. (And as KCM thinks it's 'better than Jesus' (whom most believe to be our only one who can intercede to God for us), maybe that's what they think they mean.)
But 'my inner man' hears "defend Trump from the slings-&-arrows of random condemnation"—not 'hold him up as usually-right' (which he hardly ever is), but rather admonish those who 'judge him "Guilty" based solely on the fact that he's probably "Guilty" of so many other violations.'
For example: friends on Facebook post articles about 'that check he wrote his lawyer for paying-off Stormy Daniels.' I responded asking how they knew it wasn't a forgery, and–unable to answer—they reply with a litany of the terrible things Mr. President is & -has done & -has said.
