The word “Nymph” carries the scent of “Nuptial, Marry, Wed” (also an Insect's Growth-Stage between Larva & Adult).

The word normally refers to "Semi-Divine Female Beings," and Suitors often use that word (and its Sub-groups—dryads, hamadryads, naiads, nereids, and oreads) to flatter the "Young Women & Girls" they're wooing (much the way Uncles & Fathers call their Nieces & Daughters "Princess" or "Duchess").
