Well, Emily says Mark seems to want to be 'The World's Virtual Landlord" (in a "radar"-report you can get-to through 'the emboldened link(s)' below); I'll suppose that "squatter's rights" are the only way Mark might do that, but first I want to teach you about those words. And I find you understand words better if you see 'the words at their base' (then going on to look at the words at those words' bases, then the words at those words' bases, etc.-etc. ad infinitum into their Foundation)
The word "Invoke" is built on ancient words that mean "Upon (In) + to Call (Speak, Voice)."

Squatters Rights (according to the American Apartment Owners Association) are Laws (differing in each State) that give an |Authorized 'Squatter' (one who provides sufficient evidence of Tenant-Rights to remain on Property they do not Pay Rent for) to Use or |Inhabit another person's Property.
Emily's sure that Mark's 'lordship over us' won't extend into actual reality, but he/his-partners plan to 'take over' Education (Religious- and Public-School (not to mention Private-, |College/University)), Offices, Gyms, Culture, Communications, Employment, Casual Life, Consumerism, Sanity, Churches ...
But I'm sure Emily and ALL the friends of The Hill will remain vigilant and tell us if Mark starts to ransack the brick-&-mortar establishments.
